The work, placed
where it belongs.

For collectors, heirs and private sellers of European art from the Gothic to the 18th century. We assess each work with professional care, research its background, and place it with the auction house or platform where it achieves the strongest visibility and price.

The Process

From a single photograph to the right sale room.

I

Assessment & Research

We examine the work in person or from high-resolution photography — studying construction, signatures, monograms, labels and any inscriptions. Each piece is compared against catalogues raisonnés, museum holdings and archival sources to establish school, period and likely hand.

II

Attribution & Cataloguing

A correct attribution and a properly written catalogue entry are often the difference between €200 and €2,000. We write the entry in the conventions used by the leading auction houses, citing comparanda and provenance where these can be reconstructed.

III

Strategy & Placement

Not every work belongs in the same sale. We place each piece with the auction house, dealer network or specialist platform where it will reach the correct audience — from Catawiki and regional houses to the international Old Master rooms.

IV

Consignment & Settlement

We handle the consignment paperwork, photography, transport, insurance and follow-up with the buyer. After sale, settlement is transparent and itemised — you see exactly what the work made and what was deducted.
